Why These Pages Came Into Being

Three things bother me.

First, when people who don’t deserve it suffer.

Good, kind, compassionate people, those who wear their hearts on their sleeves.

People who don’t hurt anyone, yet are harmed by those around them. People who then conclude they might not be good enough.

These people don’t deserve such thoughts, nor do they deserve the environment that fails to appreciate them, exploits them, and finally tears them down.

These people deserve to change both of those things. But for that, it’s not enough just to wait and hope that everything changes on its own.

Every change that’s supposed to happen on the outside must begin within.

The Second Thing That Bothers Me

And that brings me to the second thing that bothers me.

It can’t be done,” I hear from these good people.

We can’t just say to those who are destroying us: ‘Stop! That’s enough! We won’t let you continue!’

Why on earth not?

Because in their eyes, we’d be the villains.

So these kind people would rather let themselves be hurt.

And they lament that in today’s world it doesn’t pay to be good.

Some of them even consider becoming thugs or jerks. Because of that, there are fewer good people.

Some join the side of evil; others give in to it.

There’s no other option,” they sometimes tell me.

No? Then how about standing up to evil?

How about stopping the harm inflicted on you without giving up your good heart and your willingness to help those who need it?

Unfortunately, we’re just like that. We can’t be any different. To be different, we’d have to be born again,” they object, and I agree.

In that case, you need to start a new life.

Begin again. Think differently, act differently, live differently. Right now!

It’s possible. I know it is. Don’t tell me it isn’t.

Don’t say you can’t if in reality you just don’t want to.
The time will come when you’ll want to, but you’ll no longer be able to.

Everything is possible when you want it and when you know how.

That you don’t see a way doesn’t mean no way exists.
It just means you have to look for it and apply it.

Don’t know where? Start with yourself, and these pages will show you how.

The Third Thing That Bothers Me

And that brings me to the third thing that bothers me: when someone thanks me for their own change.
My dear visitors, I ask you in advance: Don’t do it!

If, after reading these pages, you feel the need to thank someone, stand in front of a mirror, and there you will see the hero of your own life.

Don’t drag me into your personal successes and positive changes.

It wasn’t me – it was YOU who set out on the path of change, YOU who found the courage to move forward,
YOU who will doubt yourselves and make decisions about what to do in various life situations.
Without you, your change would never happen.

I will not change you. You will change yourselves. And that’s exactly as it should be.
You need to realize that it CAN be done, and that YOU can do it. You’ll do it completely on your own.

No one else even has to be there. I forbid you from saying: “My change happened only thanks to these pages.”

No. After going through these pages repeatedly, I want you to say:

Six months have passed, and I don’t need to read it again.
I already know everything and I’m doing it, and now there’s nothing new for me here.

And if, after six months, you still can’t say that—if you haven’t yet internalized some kind of change—start over from the beginning.
Believe me, in another six months you’ll shake your head in disbelief:

What? Someone allows themselves to be hurt? Not me!
Someone can’t change? I can do that!
Someone is grateful for these pages? Grateful for what?
There’s nothing especially remarkable about these affirmations!

That’s what I want. That you’ll never need these 1000affirmations again…

Hang in there!
